Cleaning Rules (Do’s & Don’ts)

Rain Riding

Road grime from rain accelerates corrosion.

  • Clean as soon as possible after wet rides

Brake Discs

Rules:

  • Use brake cleaner only
  • No WD‑40 or lubricants
  • Spray outdoors
  • 6–10 inches distance
  • Do not touch rotors or pads afterward
  • Avoid paint and plastics

Salt Removal

Salt must be dissolved before wiping.

  • Diluted vinegar
  • Baking soda mix (1 tbsp / gallon warm water)

Let sit a few minutes, then wipe gently.


Winter Storage Prep
