ONYX 41AH BMS BMS Settings
Use the Overkill Solar BMS app or Xiaoxiang BMS app to tune the ONYX 41Ah battery. In the configuration screens, adjust the following fields for optimal performance:
- Total Battery Capacity: Set this field to the full capacity of the battery in milliamp-hours (mAh). For a 41Ah battery, this value would be 41000.
- Total Cycle Capacity: Set this field to 80% of the total capacity. For a 41Ah battery, this value would be 32800.
- These settings can be applied to all battery configurations.

ONYX 41AH Battery Tuning
This screenshot shows an ONYX 41Ah battery calibrated to around 60 volts, with an additional 5Ah of capacity remaining. This extra capacity extends the range by 4 to 10 miles, depending on throttle use. For full-throttle riding, the added 5Ah provides approximately 3 extra miles of high-speed performance at the top of the charge.
