ONYX Battery BMS Apps
For the ONYX 45Ah and any battery with a QS8 connector, you don’t need to disable the discharge port-just plug it in and ride. But for batteries with an SB50 lead, you’ll need to disable the discharge port using the BMS app first.

ONYX 41Ah Battery BMS App
The ONYX 41Ah battery doesn’t have a power switch-use the BMS app to turn off the discharge port if you’re using the large red SB50 stock connector on the battery lead to avoid sparks when plugging in. The app shows everything from battery health to voltage, output, and logs. While the ONYX 41Ah battery lets you tweak BMS settings, don’t do it-it’s risky, and the stock settings already push over 21,000 watts just fine.
