With most of the 1,300+ ONYXs in NYC passing through me since 2019, I’m always down to bring on folks who want to help out. It starts with seeing your work, getting to know you or your shop, teaming up on a few projects, and encouraging you to tap into ONYX Motors and the community for support. Community Services

You don’t have to be part of the community to benefit-but community members do get the occasional free help. I’m here for good vibes, safe rides, solid community-and making sure no one’s out here winging it.

It all started in 2019-I convinced my friends to get ONYX RCRs, kept their bikes dialed in, and next thing you know, everyone thought I worked on ONYXs. From 2019 to 2022, I fixed ’em for free-not out of kindness, but because I needed our group rides to run smooth. The perk? I got to build race teams.

I’m a fan of a good plan which is why I’m available anytime to discuss planning your modifications, repairs, or tune-up.

Stolen ONYX

If your ONYX gets swiped-yeah, it sucks-hit me up ASAP. I organize ONYX wolf packs to help track down and recover stolen bikes. Since 2019, we’ve recovered 29 out of 32. But honestly, let’s just avoid all that. Keep your ONYX indoors, or if you’re out grabbing coffee, lock it up with a front disc lock and a medium size chain to a pole. Don’t make it easy.

Schedule and Fee

No one’s impressed by how much you spent on your ONYX-what matters is that you love your ride. That said, I highly recommend discussing time and cost upfront. As of 2025, a $100 deposit (applied to your final invoice) is required before I get started.

I provide ONYX service during the second and fourth week of each month, including those weekends when necessary.

Flat-fee services cover the basics, and in some special cases, I may waive the fee-I’ll let you know in advance, and you’re always welcome to ask. No one likes surprises, so feel free to ask for an estimate for time and cost anytime.

Parts

Saving money starts with you-the ONYX owner-buying all the parts yourself, whether from ONYX Motors, my aftermarket parts pages, or any source we’ve talked about. I also keep a stash of essential parts on hand, which I use at my discretion when needed.

Stuff to Know

Quotes, Warranty, and Insurance

I don’t handle quotes, warranty repairs, or insurance estimates. For those, I recommend contacting ONYX Motors directly. If they reach out to me for support, I’m always happy to assist.

What I Don’t Service

There are certain ONYX bikes I don’t service due to specific reasons and circumstances. However, I can recommend a trusted shop-the only one in NYC that’s compliant with local lithium battery laws and properly equipped to handle high-maintenance or high-risk cases.
