ONYX CTY2 BIG Post
The ONYX CTY2 shares RCR DNA but brings its own wild streak-same QS 205 V3Ti motor with 10 AWG phase wires and 12,000W max output. It runs a custom-wired Kelly 6018 with fabricated power, aviator, and harness connectors, plus a service port for easy phase, hall, and temp sensor swaps. Upgrade to a beefy AMORGE battery and the ride hits a whole new level of fun.
But here’s where things get spicy-you can swap in the RCR’s 20,000W QS motor and even drop in the full RCR controller setup, if you’re down to replace the main harness and do some clever modding.

Fallout Mode is 12,000 Watts
Fallout Mode is the CTY2’s spin on RCR’s Sicko Mode-and yeah, it rips. You can run it on the stock 23Ah, just take it easy. Ride smart and you’ll keep your range, but mash the throttle and it’ll drain fast. Want full chaos? Drop in an AMORGE battery and watch your CTY2 go beast mode.

- Pro tip: add Statorade and Hubsinks to keep the CTY2 motor cool. No worries on the controller-it’s already mounted outside and ready to breathe.

Fallout Mode FAQ
- Question: Can I run Fallout Mode without Statorade or Hubsinks?
- Answer: Sure-if you’re into Limp Mode and cooking your motor’s magnets into retirement. So… yeah, hard pass.
- Question: Will the controller overheat?
- Answer: The controller’s already living its best life outside-soaking up airflow and staying cool.
- Question: Do I need a bigger motor to run Fallout Mode at 12,000 watts?
- Nope. The CTY2’s 205 motor has been throwing down 12,000 watts like a champ since 2022.
- Question: How much time and money does it take to unlock Fallout Mode?
- Answer: DIY it for about $140, or have a shop handle it for $150–$200 in labor (not including parts). If you know your way around the bike, it’s an easy afternoon wrench session-think 1.5 to 2 hours tops.
