ONYX Week LA 2026
ONYX Week LA returns June 23-27, 2026, and the community is already getting ready.
This guide covers a lot of information and will continue to grow as new details are released. If you are looking for something specific, be sure to check the table of contents at the top of the page to quickly jump to the section you need.
One thing that has always made the ONYX community special is that all are welcome.
Since 2018, ONYX rides, events, and gatherings have never been limited to ONYX owners. If you ride a different bike, that is completely fine. That attitude has been part of the community from the beginning and remains one of the things that makes ONYX special today.
During a recent ONYX Live stream, the ONYX team discussed upcoming plans and confirmed that more event details are on the way. The official schedule, locations, times, and activity details are still being finalized.
As ONYX releases more information, this guide will be updated quickly.
That means dates, times, addresses, places to be, ride details, event notes, and official updates will be added here once they are released.
One thing I can already say is that ONYX has always been an incredibly dog-friendly community. If you have a four-legged riding buddy, you will find plenty of dog lovers throughout the week. There will be more information later in this guide, but dogs have always been welcome and are very much a part of the ONYX family.
If for any reason you need help beyond what is covered in this guide, feel free to contact ONYX Motors directly or reach out to me through the contact page on this site.
If you are planning to attend, bookmark this page and check back regularly. This post is meant to be a living guide for ONYX Week LA 2026.
Thinking About Attending? Don’t Overthink It.
If you have never attended ONYX Week LA before, you might be asking the same questions a lot of us asked before our first event.
Can I come for one day?
Which day should I attend?
What if I get out of work late?
How do I find everyone?
What if I do not know anybody?
What if I am new to ONYX?
The good news is that ONYX Week LA is flexible.
Some people attend every day. Some stop by for a ride, a wrench session, an afternoon meetup, or the Friday gathering. Once the official calendar is released, it will be easier to decide which days fit your schedule best.
The real recommendation is to come every day if you can.
But you do not have to experience all of ONYX Week LA to be part of ONYX Week LA.
If you can only make one day, show up for that day. If you can only make an afternoon, show up for the afternoon. If you are getting out of work and trying to find the group, there will be ways to connect, communicate, and get oriented.
If you are showing up alone, you will not be the first person to do it.
Most people spend more time worrying about attending than they spend feeling uncomfortable once they arrive.
The hardest part is usually just deciding to come.
Showing up is half the battle.
ONYX Week LA is not the kind of event where people stand around watching from the sidelines. The best way to experience it is to jump in, meet people, join a ride, ask questions, and become part of what is happening around you.
After that, things tend to fall into place pretty quickly.
First Time Attending ONYX Week LA?
If this is your first ONYX Week LA, do not stress the logistics.
A lot of people are thinking through the same things.
Will there be charging?
Can my bike handle the distance?
What if I arrive late?
What if I do not know anyone?
What if I have never ridden with a group before?
The ONYX community has been answering these questions for years. Between the ONYX team, event organizers, moderators, experienced riders, community leaders, and longtime owners, there will be plenty of people available to help.
If something is not clear, ask.
If you are concerned about range, ask.
If you need help finding a location, ask.
If you are new and want to meet people, introduce yourself.
Experienced riders remember what it was like to be new. Nobody shows up already knowing every route, every person, every location, and every detail.
We all had a first ride.
We all had a first event.
We all had a moment where we showed up wondering what to expect.
That is part of what the community is here for.
Why ONYX Week LA Is Different
I have attended a lot of events over the years.
Electrify Expo, Demo Days, One Moto Portland, ONYX NYC, group rides, meetups, and other gatherings all bring something unique to the table.
ONYX Week LA is still one of the hardest experiences to explain.
Photos help.
Videos help.
Livestreams help.
Stories help.
But none of them fully capture what it is like to spend a week surrounded by riders, builders, creators, moderators, friends, and members of the ONYX team.
ONYX Week LA is part ride event, part reunion, part workshop, part meetup, and part community gathering.
Some people come for the rides.
Some people come for the bikes.
Some people come for the technical conversations.
Some people come because they have been talking to others on Discord or social media for months and finally want to meet them in person.
Whatever brings you there, ONYX Week LA becomes more than a schedule of events.
It becomes a week of people, bikes, rides, food, conversations, projects, and plans that keep unfolding.
Many people arrive expecting to spend the week talking about bikes.
They leave remembering the people they met, the conversations they had, the rides they shared, and the friendships they built.
If you loved the original Fast & Furious movie and the way it made you feel, ONYX Week LA is probably the closest real-world comparison I can think of. The rides, the builds, the friendships, the late nights, and the community are all there. You really have to experience it for yourself.
Los Angeles Is Home
Every ONYX event has its own personality.
ONYX NYC is incredible. Other community events around the country continue to grow every year.
But Los Angeles has a special place in ONYX history.
This is where many of the stories began. This is where the company and the community naturally come together.
One of the things that makes ONYX Week LA unique is how closely connected the community and the company are.
New owners, longtime riders, builders, moderators, content creators, and ONYX team members often end up sharing the same rides, conversations, meals, projects, and events throughout the week.
At a lot of events, there is a clear line between the company and the attendees.
At ONYX Week LA, that line can feel much smaller.
Sometimes it can be difficult to tell where the company ends and the community begins.
One of the wildest things about ONYX Week LA is that this has been happening since 2018, and somehow the energy keeps growing.
Every year brings new riders, new friendships, new projects, new stories, and new experiences. The community continues to expand, the range of people attending continues to grow, and every year seems to add another layer to what ONYX Week LA has become.
Every year I see familiar faces return, and every year I meet people attending for the first time. That mix of longtime riders and new community members is part of what keeps the experience fresh.
You would think after all these years things might start slowing down, but that has not happened. If anything, the momentum keeps building. The rides get bigger, the conversations get longer, the projects get more ambitious, and more people continue to find their way into the community.
At this point, it feels like there is no end in sight. Every year brings something new, and every year leaves people looking forward to the next one before the current one is even over.
That is part of what makes ONYX different.
What To Expect During The Week
The official schedule is still being finalized, but several community traditions and planned activities are expected to return.
Details will be updated here as ONYX releases them.
ONYX Sessions
ONYX Sessions are the organized group rides that have become one of the biggest parts of ONYX Week LA.
These rides usually bring together great routes, great scenery, great conversations, and great food.
Expect riders from different cities, different backgrounds, and different experience levels to come together and ride.
And yes, there will probably be tacos.
Community Gatherings
One thing that surprises a lot of first-time attendees is how much happens outside of the official schedule.
A conversation turns into a ride.
A ride turns into a food stop.
A food stop turns into a late-night plan.
Somebody starts talking about a bike.
Somebody else starts talking about a modification.
Then suddenly a whole group is standing around sharing ideas.
Every day starts with a plan.
By the end of the day, something unexpected has usually happened.
Wrench Day
Wrench Day is expected to be one of the most interesting parts of ONYX Week LA.
Owners bring bikes.
Builders bring ideas.
People share tools, knowledge, troubleshooting advice, modifications, parts, and project updates.
It is one of the best opportunities all year to see custom builds, aftermarket solutions, performance upgrades, cosmetic changes, and technical problem-solving happening in person.
I will also be spending time at one of the tents during the week and look forward to talking with riders, answering questions, and sharing some of the projects that have been in development.
Some of the most interesting things in the ONYX world are not always easy to understand online. Seeing them in person, talking to the people behind them, and watching bikes get worked on live is a different experience.
There may also be a few surprises in store this year that have been quietly taking shape behind the scenes. I cannot share the details just yet, but I am excited for people to finally see what has been coming together.
Neville Street And The New ONYX HQ
Attendees can expect ONYX Week LA activities connected to both the Neville Street location and the new ONYX headquarters.
Specific times, locations, and details will be added here once ONYX releases the official schedule.
For now, just know that both locations are expected to matter during the week.
Friday Gathering
Friday is expected to be one of the biggest community moments of the week and is traditionally the official ONYX Week LA party day.
I will also be back on the microphone this year after having the opportunity to help out during last year’s event. It was one of the highlights of the week for me, and I am excited to do it again.
This is usually when a lot of people come together, bikes get seen, food gets shared, music gets turned up, and the energy of the entire week comes into focus.
There are often announcements, reveals, community updates, and plenty of moments that remind you why people keep coming back year after year.
If you can only make one day, I would not blame you for choosing Friday.
That said, do not make the mistake of thinking Friday is the only day worth attending.
Some of my favorite ONYX Week memories have happened during rides, Wrench Day, food runs, late-night conversations, and moments that were never part of the official schedule in the first place.
Friday may be the party, but the entire week is the experience.
If you see me during the week, come say hello.
Details will be updated here once ONYX publishes the official calendar.
Airbnbs And Late Nights
A lot of the ONYX Week LA experience happens outside of the official schedule.
There will be ONYX Airbnbs, shared stays, friends crashing together, late-night conversations, food runs, bike talk, project discussions, and the kind of memories that end up getting talked about long after the week is over.
That is part of what makes ONYX Week LA so difficult to explain.
The rides are incredible.
The events are incredible.
But some of the best moments happen after the rides are over and the official activities are done for the day.
Walk into an ONYX Airbnb and you will probably find somebody talking about a build, somebody planning tomorrow’s ride, somebody ordering food, somebody sharing stories from previous years, and somebody showing off a project they have been working on for months.
That is part of the magic.
New riders end up sitting next to people who have been attending these events for years. Conversations start around bikes and somehow turn into stories, ideas, friendships, and plans for the next day.
Some of the best memories from ONYX Week LA are never listed on the schedule.
Last year, I went to bed exhausted every night and woke up ready to do it all over again.
Not because the week was stressful.
Because there was always something happening.
A ride.
A project.
A conversation.
A food run.
A livestream.
A new idea.
One minute you are talking about battery setups. The next minute somebody is planning a sunrise ride, somebody is ordering tacos, and somebody else is showing off something they have been quietly working on all year.
You sleep like a rock and wake up ready to do it all over again.
Some of the best memories from ONYX Week LA happen when nobody is trying to make memories.
They are not on the calendar.
They are not part of an announcement.
They just happen.
And that is one of the reasons this event is so difficult to explain until you experience it for yourself.
Safety And Rider Support
Group rides are organized with safety in mind.
There are experienced riders helping keep things moving, people looking out for the group, and community members checking in on each other throughout the week.
Route information, meetup details, live locations, communication channels, and support resources will be shared as plans are finalized.
The ONYX team and community have a lot of experience with this.
Charging, ride support, route planning, communication, and rider coordination are all things that get thought through before the rides happen.
The goal is not to leave anyone behind.
The goal is to help people ride, connect, learn, and enjoy the week.
Charging And Range
Charging is one of the first things people ask about, especially if they are coming from a distance or joining a longer ride.
There will be charging opportunities and rider support throughout the week.
If you are unsure about range, ask before the ride.
If you are unsure whether your setup can handle a route, ask.
If you need help understanding where charging is available, ask.
The community is very used to these questions.
Do not be embarrassed to ask them.
What Should You Bring?
A few practical items can make the week easier.
- ONYX charger
- Hydration pack or water bottle
- Your normal riding gear
- Sunscreen
- Portable phone battery pack
- Charging cables
- Sena headset or other communication equipment if you use it
- Camera equipment if you want more than your phone
Phones work hard during ONYX Week.
Navigation, Discord, photos, videos, Instagram stories, event updates, and group messages can drain a battery quickly.
A portable phone battery pack is highly recommended.
Communication During The Week
Communication will be important during ONYX Week LA.
Expect updates through Discord, social media, ONYX Live, and official ONYX channels.
Many riders also use Sena Mesh, Cardo, Zello, Discord Ride-Out Chat, Wave Intercom, and other communication tools during rides.
If you already use a headset or communication setup, bring it. It can make it much easier to stay connected during rides, coordinate meetup locations, receive updates, and keep in touch with the group throughout the week.
If you need help setting up any of these communication tools, do not hesitate to ask. The ONYX Motors team and I are happy to help people get connected, troubleshoot issues, and make sure everyone has the information they need to stay in touch during the event.
Whether you prefer Discord, a headset, a mobile app, or a combination of tools, there will be plenty of ways to communicate and stay connected throughout ONYX Week LA.
Dog-Friendly Community
ONYX events have always been very dog-friendly.
If you are traveling with a four-legged buddy, you will likely find plenty of dog lovers throughout the week.
Expect water bowls, treats, toys, shade, and lots of attention.
If your dog enjoys being around people, ONYX Week LA can be a surprisingly welcoming environment for them too.
Need Help During The Week?
If you are attending for the first time, do not worry about figuring everything out by yourself.
Between the ONYX team, event organizers, moderators, community leaders, experienced riders, and volunteers, there will be plenty of people available to answer questions and point you in the right direction.
If you need directions, schedule information, help finding the group, or assistance getting connected, ask.
There will be people looking out for attendees and helping new people get oriented throughout the week.
I will also be sharing updates, stories, photos, ride coverage, and event information through social media as the week unfolds.
But help will not be limited to one person.
The ONYX community is full of people who want others to have a great experience, and nobody is expected to figure everything out on their own.
Just Show Up
Once the official schedule is released, my advice is simple.
Show up.
If an event says people are meeting somewhere at a certain time, trust that people will be there.
Do not overthink it.
Whether you arrive in riding gear, a tuxedo, a costume, or something in between, nobody is going to care.
The community is there to ride, connect, laugh, learn, and spend time together.
Come for one event.
Come for one day.
Come for the entire week.
Whatever works for your schedule.
Just show up.
If You Are Considering An ONYX
If you are thinking about buying an ONYX, ONYX Week LA may be one of the best opportunities all year to see the bikes in person.
You can talk to actual owners.
You can see different builds.
You can ask questions.
You can watch how people ride, charge, modify, maintain, and use their bikes in real life.
You can also meet the ONYX team and see the community up close.
Whether you have owned an ONYX for five years, five days, or do not own one yet, there will be people willing to share their experiences.
One of the best parts is that you are not observing the community from the outside. You are experiencing it alongside the people who make it what it is.
A lot of people discover that they are not just interested in the bike.
They are interested in the people around it.
That is something worth seeing firsthand.

ONYX Motors Discord
The ONYX Motors Discord is where a lot of the community conversation happens.
This is where riders organize group rides, ask technical questions, share projects, coordinate events, and stay connected throughout the year.
ONYX Is Live
ONYX Is Live is where livestream conversations happen inside Discord.
These streams often include owner questions, community updates, project discussions, event planning, and ONYX Week LA information.
What Is ONYX Is Live?
ONYX Is Live is one of the best ways to get a feel for the community before ONYX Week LA.
The livestreams are announced in advance through community channels such as Discord, Facebook, and Instagram.
They usually happen on Fridays, but the schedule can vary. Some months may have one livestream. Other months may have several.
Topics can include:
- Owner questions
- Community updates
- Product conversations
- Project discussions
- ONYX Week LA planning
- Event announcements
- Builds and modifications
- General community discussion
If you have never attended ONYX Week LA before, ONYX Is Live can help you understand the energy of the community before you arrive.
There will likely be strong ONYX Week LA livestream activity as the event gets closer.
Some updates may be discussed there before they are easy to find elsewhere, which is why it is worth joining the Discord and watching for announcements.

Discord Invite:
Start Here And Set Your Roles
After joining the ONYX Motors Discord, start with the onboarding process.
Start Here:
The first steps are simple.
- Read the welcome information.
- Visit Start Here.
- Set your bike role.
- Set your regional role.
This matters because roles unlock many of the server channels.
If you do not set your roles, you may not see much of the Discord.
That is one of the most common things new members miss.
Take the time to set your roles first.
Bike Roles
The Discord includes bike roles such as:
- RCR 80V
- RCR 72V
- CTY
- LZR
- Non-owner options
These roles help people understand what you ride or what you are interested in.
They also help organize technical conversations and community discussions.
Regional Roles
Regional roles help connect riders by location.
Examples include:
- LA
- SoCal
- NY
- NJ
- Florida
- Pennsylvania
- Arizona
- Las Vegas
- Colorado
- SF
- NorCal
- Seattle
- Oregon
- DMV
- Massachusetts
- Midwest
- Illinois
- Michigan
- Ohio
- Idaho

Discord is more than a ride-planning tool. It is the digital clubhouse of the ONYX community.
Regional Communities And Group Rides
The ONYX Motors Discord is where many group rides are organized.
For many riders, Discord is where the ONYX community lives between events and where most ride planning happens throughout the year.
That includes ONYX Week LA, but it also applies to local rides, meetups, and community gatherings happening across the country throughout the year.
If you want to know when rides are happening in Los Angeles, New York City, Colorado, Texas, Florida, Oregon, Seattle, Las Vegas, or other regions, Discord is where many of those conversations happen.
This is where people share:
- Ride details
- Meetup locations
- Route discussions
- Schedule changes
- Weather updates
- Charging information
- Last-minute plans
- Post-ride photos
Even if you are not attending ONYX Week LA, joining Discord is one of the easiest ways to connect with riders near you.
Suggestions And Feedback
The ONYX Motors Discord includes a suggestions area where community members can share ideas and feedback.
That is part of what makes the server useful.
It is not just announcements.
It is a place where owners, riders, builders, moderators, and the ONYX team can hear what people are thinking about.
Good community spaces need a place for questions, ideas, and feedback.
The Discord has that.
New To Discord?
If you are new to Discord, the server includes help for new users.
That includes guidance around things like:
- Replies
- Threads
- Notifications
- Server navigation
- Voice channels
- Community channels
Do not worry if Discord feels confusing at first.
Start with the welcome section, set your roles, and move through the server slowly.
Once your roles are set, the server will make more sense.
Discord Microphone And Connectivity Troubleshooting
If you plan to join voice chats or ONYX Is Live discussions, test your setup before the event.
Common issues include:
- Microphone permissions
- Wrong input device
- Browser limitations
- Bluetooth audio settings
- Push-to-talk settings
- Voice activity settings
- Discord app permissions
- Windows microphone privacy settings
If your microphone is not working, check the basics first.
- Confirm your microphone works outside Discord.
- Open Discord voice settings.
- Confirm the correct input device is selected.
- Test the microphone inside Discord.
- Check whether push-to-talk is enabled.
- Check operating system microphone permissions.
- Restart Discord.
- Try the desktop app if the browser version is giving you issues.
For livestreams and voice chats, it is better to test early than troubleshoot at the last minute.
Community Moderation
One thing that stands out across the ONYX community is the quality of moderation.
The goal is not to create a long list of restrictions.
The goal is to keep the community welcoming, respectful, useful, and fun.
Good moderation helps keep conversations clean, organized, and constructive. That matters when people are planning rides, sharing technical information, asking for help, discussing parts, posting projects, and coordinating events.
The moderators, community leaders, and ONYX team do a strong job helping keep the space enjoyable for new and experienced riders.
Community Guidelines
Community guidelines are listed near the bottom here because the first thing people should feel is welcome.
Still, the rules matter.
They help keep the ONYX community useful and enjoyable for everyone.
Discord Rules:
General expectations include:
- Be respectful.
- Keep discussions constructive.
- Stay on topic.
- No spam.
- No self-promotion.
- Respect moderator guidance.
- Share accurate information when possible.
- Help keep the community welcoming.
- Have fun.
The ONYX community works because people want to help each other.
Whether you are participating through Discord, Facebook, ONYX Live, or attending events in person, the goal is the same.
Respect others, contribute positively, and help make the community a place people enjoy being part of.
After ONYX Week LA
After ONYX Week LA, this guide may be updated with photos, videos, livestream notes, ride coverage, highlights, and recap information.
The event does not really end when the week ends.
The stories, builds, photos, conversations, and friendships keep going.
That is part of why ONYX Week LA matters.
Final Thoughts
ONYX Week LA is one of the hardest events to explain.
Photos help.
Videos help.
Livestreams help.
Stories help.
But none of them fully capture what it is like to be there.
ONYX has always done things a little differently, and ONYX Week LA is one of the best opportunities to see that firsthand.
If you are waiting until everything is perfectly planned before deciding whether to attend, do not.
Follow the updates.
Join the conversation.
See what works for your schedule.
Come for one ride, one day, one gathering, or the entire week.
Showing up is half the battle.
You might arrive expecting to learn more about the bikes.
You might leave realizing you found a much larger community than you expected.
That is something you have to experience for yourself.
